In 2014 the company expanded in to commercial film production, with the acquisition of Gary James, who brought with him the experience of 30 years in the commercial image acquisition industry. Provo Pictures is equipped to tackle your most demanding projects. Our work has been featured in international publications such as the New York Times, Coastal Living, The Robb Report, The Wall Street Journal, Harper’s Bazaar, Forbes, and Caribbean Travel and Leisure. Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, owner and director of Provo Pictures, Gary James feels fortunate to live, work, and raise his family on Providenciales, in the Turks and Caicos Islands. In the mid 90’s he graduated from WITS University with an honours degree in film. Shortly thereafter he joined the commercial film industry, advancing up to the level of senior producer. Specialising in high end local and international commercial film production. He has worked with many international brands including amongst others Unilever, Coca Cola, Kellogg’s, Western Union and Nestle. With over three decades of experience in the film and photographic industries, Gary has acquired a broad skill set that has allowed him to execute his client’s vision in any given media. A perfectionist, yet personable, Gary will push as hard as he can to achieve the best results for all his clients.
